Web Account Executive

Experience needed: 3-5+ years
Time Required: 40 hours/week; contract position with opportunity for hire
Salary: Monthly base plus commission
Reports to: Director, Web Solutions; possibility for promotion to this position in future

Objective: Our business is growing rapidly; we would like to find a strong Web Account Executive who will be responsible for establishing new web business, developing current business relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction.  This entails lead generation both locally and nationally, opportunity development, proposals writing, closing deals, gathering customer requirements, light project management, and communicating detailed customer needs to the web team. 

Requirements: Previous experience in sales or account management for web/design/media organization, good verbal and written communication skills, solid understanding of the web and related technologies, strong leadership and business skills, strategic and tactical orientation, self motivated and accountable, good rapport building and listening skills, and an eye for design and branding.

Duties:

• Answer sales and account management calls and emails
• Generate new web business
• Grow current web client accounts
• Follow-up with long list of current leads
• Serve as liaison between clients and the web team
• Provide online demos for websites
• Perform light project management when needed
• Build long term relationships with prospects and clients
• Meet with potential clients and draft contracts and proposals for future work
• Engage in online communities
• Document requirements listed by clients for change requests or new contracts
• Communicate with the web team and the project manager on details of a new project
